Job summary

Northern Arizona Healthcare seeks a CVOR Tech 2 (Scrub Tech) to prepare supplies and equipment for interventions and assist with procedures under supervision. You will ensure proper handling of specimens, medications, and instruments, while maintaining accountability for your practice and delegated tasks.

You will relate to diverse patients and collaborate with the surgical team, updating orders, turnovers, and physician preference cards as needed, and maintain safety and competency requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of OR Technician program required.
• BLS certification required.
• Employee will obtain and maintain appropriate clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Relate to and work with patients of all ages and with hospital personnel.
• Communicate orders to RN and coordinate with team during procedures.
• Maintain, monitor, and restock equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Report safety incidents and maintain compliance with training and licensing.
