Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled RN First Assistant to deliver safe, patient-family centered perioperative care in the OR and related areas. You will function as RN first assistant during procedures and as a circulator when required, ensuring adherence to scope of practice and hospital standards.

Requirements include graduation from a nursing program and completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, plus CNOR/CRNFA credentials and GA licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program is required.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, including didactic and clinical components, is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative areas.
• Function as an RN first assistant during operative/invasive procedures and throughout perioperative continuum.
• Serve as an RN circulator as needed in the OR.
