Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled RN First Assistant to deliver safe and high-quality perioperative care across the OR and related areas. The role includes assisting in operative procedures and maintaining patient-family centered care throughout the perioperative continuum.

Required are a nursing degree and an AORN-RN First Assistant program, with 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience and CVOR qualifications. Georgia RN licensure and CNOR/CRNFA credentials are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program with didactic and clinical components.
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience.
• 3 years minimum experience as an RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR.
• Georgia licensure as a Registered Nurse or multi-state license.

Aufgaben

• Deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative settings.
• Act as RN First Assistant during operative and invasive procedures across the perioperative continuum.
• Occasionally serve as RN circulator delivering safe perioperative care.
