Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced RN First Assistant to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care across the OR and perioperative services.

The role requires RN licensure in Georgia, CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program. Candidates should have 2 years perioperative RN/RNFA experience and at least 3 years in the CVOR, if applicable.

Qualifications

• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience
• 3 years minimum experience as RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative services
• Functions as an RN first assistant during operative and other invasive procedures
• Performs as RN circulator when applicable

Education

Nursing program graduate

AORN-RN First Assistant program

RN Georgia licensure / NLC/eNCL Multistate License

CNOR - Certified Operating Room Nurse

CRNFA - Certified RN First Assistant

BCLS - Basic Life Support

ACLS

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
