Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Hampshire
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- 1 year OR/CVOR RN experience preferred
- ACLS within 90 days of employment; BCLS within 30 days
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients prior to surgery
- Provide patient and family education for perioperative process
- Prepare patients for surgery including IV therapy and preoperative meds
- Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols
- Recognize and respond to patient emergencies
- Deliver high-quality nursing care with evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including physicians and staff
- Document patient condition and care provided accurately
- Educate patients and families about conditions and follow-up measures
