Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix is hiring CVOR RNs for the Cardiovascular Operating Room and general OR coverage. The role involves team-based care with surgeons and staff, including CPB and TEEs support, in a Magnet-designated, electronically advanced hospital.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of one year RN experience in the operating room.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients per policy and professional standards.
• Assist physicians with CVOR procedures including CPB/heart-lung machine use and related monitoring.
• Provide nursing care, supervise staff, and communicate patient status to care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and outcomes and revise care as needed.
• Document care and ensure continuity of care and reporting.
