Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated Operating Room RN with Cardiovascular (CVOR) experience for a full-time Day shift. The role requires a BSN and at least 1 year of OR experience, with on-call duties and a 30-minute arrival time for on-call shifts.

The RN will coordinate care using the nursing process, develop care plans, and ensure patient safety and timely delivery of services in a high-demand surgical environment.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 1+ year OR experience required.
• CVOR experience required (Cardiovascular).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care using the nursing process and develop individualized care plans.
• Assess patient condition and respond to changes in health status.
• Delegate interventions based on patient needs and competency.
• Ensure safe passage for patients and promote quality outcomes.
