Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced RN First Assistant to deliver safe, quality perioperative care. The role includes functioning as an RN first assistant during operative procedures and supporting the perioperative team across patient populations.

Required qualifications include RN licensure in Georgia, completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, CNOR and CRNFA credentials, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS. Sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (Required)
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program (Required)
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience (Required)
• 3 years minimum experience as an RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR (Required)
• Georgia RN licensure and related certifications (Required)
• CNOR, CRNFA, BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (Required)

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective perioperative care as RN first assistant in the OR and perioperative continuum.
• Occasionally perform the RN circulator role as needed.
• Provide patient-family centered care throughout perioperative services.
