MemorialCare Health System in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse Coordinator for the CVOR. This full-time, day-shift position directs and coordinates nursing care for CVOR patients, functioning as Circulator and Scrub with service coordination responsibilities.

The role requires 5 years cardiac surgery experience, CNOR preferred, BLS, and proficiency with patient documentation. A $10,000 signing bonus is available for external hires, and the position offers competitive pay within

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years of cardiac surgery experience with the ability to scrub and circulate all heart procedures.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card required.
• Current CNOR highly preferred.
• Experience with computer, internet, order entry and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and AORN standards as a framework for patient care management.
• Leads coordination of patient care across the clinical team toward outcomes.
• Delegates to licensed and unlicensed staff and ensures safety and documentation accuracy.
• Oversees equipment/supply needs and mentors new staff.
• Acts as liaison between executive/specialty team and medical staff.
