Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred; ADN with commitment to enroll in BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years direct cardiac and/or vascular nursing experience.
• Ability to assess complex patient needs and develop evidence-based care plans.
• Ability to communicate clinical information effectively with patients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized nursing care plans for cardiac/vascular procedures.
• Delegate and supervise nursing tasks while maintaining quality care.
• Document care activities and observations accurately and timely.
• Evaluate outcomes against care plans and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, post-operative expectations, and discharge instructions.
• Prioritize multiple patient care needs in a fast-paced CVOR environment.
