Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Jackson, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Services CVOR Cardiac unit. This full-time position offers 4-10 hour shifts from 6:30am to 5:00pm with weekday and weekend on-call requirements in a high-acuity CVOR environment.

The RN will serve as circulating nurse, coordinate patient care with surgical and anesthesia teams, maintain sterile field, and ensure equipment readiness. Requires 1–2 years cardiac/vascular experience, nursing degree, and MI license.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• ADN must enroll in BSN within 3 years, complete BSN within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality patient care.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care.
• Communicate pertinent information to health care team and families.
• Perform duties as circulating nurse to maintain sterile field and support surgical/anesthesia teams.
