Job summary

Henry Ford Health's CVOR unit at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital in Jackson, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse to support cardiac and vascular procedures in a high-acuity, 1:1 patient setting. You will circulate, coordinate care, monitor patient status, and collaborate with the surgical team.

Requires RN license in Michigan, BSN preferred, 2+ years CVOR experience, and BCLS; ACLS preferred. Sign-on bonus eligible for CVOR experience; 4-10 hour shifts; weekend on-call; comprehensive orientation

Qualifications

• RN with experience in cardiac/vascular care
• Ability to assess complex cardiac/vascular patient needs
• Strong communication with interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop evidence-based nursing care plans for cardiac/vascular procedures
• Delegate tasks and supervise nursing activities while ensuring quality care
• Document care and communicate patient status with team
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust care plans as needed
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-operative care
