Nextaff Healthcare Staffing is seeking two CVOR RN contractors for a fast-paced cardiovascular operating room. Join a skilled perioperative team to support cardiac and vascular procedures on a full-time contract from Nov 22, 2026 to Feb 20, 2027.

Must hold a current RN license, with CVOR experience and AHA ACLS certification. On-call requirements include weekday shifts and weekend coverage; competitive pay and recruiter support are provided.

Responsibilities

CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) Nextaff Healthcare Staffing | Full-Time Contract Opportunity

Nextaff is seeking experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurses for two full-time contract openings. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled OR nurses with cardiovascular experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced surgical environment and providing exceptional patient care.

Position Details

• Position: CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)
• Openings: 2 Full-Time Positions
• Contract Dates: November 22, 2026 – February 20, 2027
• Shift: Days, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Call Requirements: Five 16-hour weekday call shifts per 4-week schedule; Two full weekends of call (48 hours each) per 4-week schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams throughout cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment.
• Monitor patient safety and maintain strict sterile technique.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond to scheduled call requirements and emergency surgical cases.

Requirements

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous CVOR experience required.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and operating room protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to meet weekday, weekend, and holiday call requirements as needed.
