Job summary

MedStar Union Memorial Hospital is seeking a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN to join its renowned cardiac program. This role requires prior OR experience and will scrub and circulate a variety of cardiovascular cases in a high-acuity surgical team.

You will work four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with on-call and holiday responsibilities, and benefit from a comprehensive nursing package including health plans, PTO, retirement, tuition assistance, relocation help, and a generous

Qualifications

ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
Assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.
