Job summary

ChristianaCare Hospital is actively seeking a CVOR Registered Nurse in the Open Heart team. The role focuses on intraoperative care for complex open-heart surgeries and requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a BSN or are committed to obtaining it, hold current RN licensure, and have 3+ years OR experience with Open-Heart screening. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred or commitment to obtain within three years of date of hire with relevant experience.
• Current RN licensure is required.
• Three years or more Operating Room experience is required; two to three years Open-Heart Team circulating and scrubbing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled intraoperative nursing care for complex open-heart procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to clinical standards in cardiac surgery.
