Job summary

CVOR Registered Nurse – Operating Room at Henry Ford Health in Michigan seeks an experienced OR nurse for 40 hours/week on day shifts. The role requires BSN (preferred) and Michigan RN licensure, with leadership in coordinating patient care and strong communication across teams.

You'll work in a high-demand surgical environment, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while addressing variances to meet patient goals. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
