Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Florida is seeking a registered nurse with CVICU experience to provide high-quality, evidence-based care. The RN will apply nursing processes and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in a fast-paced CVICU setting.

The candidate must hold Florida RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and have NIHSS training or the ability to obtain it through recognized programs. BSN is preferred and ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• NIHSS training can be obtained through various organizations and learning systems.
• Recent CVICU experience with two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process and theory to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate and modify patient care using evidence-based practices.
• Practice autonomously within professional nursing standards, ANA Code of Ethics and ANA Bill of Rights.
• Strive for quality outcomes and innovative practice in line with Florida Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Ensure nursing practice competency for the area.
• Accountable for quality of nursing services delivered and participate in quality assurance initiatives.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate patient care and lead the interdisciplinary team.
