Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
• BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• NIHSS training is available through various organizations and learning systems.
• Recent CVICU experience with two years of experience.
• RN educator to peers, patients, and families; supports service excellence and a healing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate, and modify patient care using evidence-based practices.
• Practice autonomously within professional nursing standards, the ANA Code of Ethics and the ANA Bill of Rights.
• Strive for quality outcomes and innovative practice per the Florida Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Ensure practice is in accordance with competency required for the area.
• Provide collaborative leadership coordinating the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Build effective networks and alliances to collaborate within department and organization.
• Provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen knowledge and skills.
• Foster teamwork and adaptability to support change and improve patient care outcomes.
