Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Respiratory Intermediate Care Unit on a full-time 7p-7a schedule. The unit supports telemetry monitoring for medical, surgical, cardiac patients, and ventilator-dependent individuals in a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited nursing program completion, active RN license in Illinois, BLS and ACLS within 6 months, and at least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience;

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Requires 1 year minimum of Medical/Surgical nursing experience to be considered.
• Vent experience highly desired

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
