Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This 8-bed unit offers a collaborative culture and opportunities to care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.

The role features full-time 3x12 hour night shifts with a commitment-incentive bonus of $20,000. You will perform assessments, interventions, documentation, and contribute to care plans under supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of ICU, CVICU/CV Tele, or PCU experience required.
• Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact required.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate patient assessments and identify nursing needs.
• Initiate and execute appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide age-appropriate care and timely documentation of medical necessity.
• Develop and update the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Complete timely QI assessments.

Skills

ICU experience

NC RN license

BLS certification

ACLS/PALS in 6 months
