Responsibilities include coordinating with the medical team, documenting care, ensuring safety standards, and participating in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• Associate degree in nursing or higher.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/CCRN and other certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological and psychosocial factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; regularly evaluate and revise plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocol.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Document care activities accurately in the medical record and monitor outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards; provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Supervise care delegation among the healthcare team and participate in performance improvements.
