Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts in Great Falls, Montana. This full-time, on-site role offers exposure to inpatient cardiovascular care with high-quality nurse-to-patient ratios and strong clinical support.

Responsibilities include direct cardiac and critical care nursing, ventilator and CRRT management, and collaboration with Providers and nurse leadership to ensure evidence-based care and thorough discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Montana RN license or eligibility for licensure/endorsement.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS within 6 months of hire; TNCC/PALS preferred.
• Post-graduate ICU/CCU experience with cardiovascular surgery patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to medical, surgical and CVICU patients from admission to discharge.
• Operate advanced cardiac and life-support equipment including ventilators, central/arterial lines, IV pumps.
• Monitor patients using cardiac devices (IABP/Impella) and ensure timely documentation.
• Serve as clinical floor leader, guiding RNs, LPNs, CNAs and support staff.
• Collaborate with providers and nurse leadership to implement care plans and discharge planning.
• Maintain meticulous electronic health records and ensure compliance with policies.
