Corpus Christi Medical Center The Heart Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team. The RN uses established nursing models to advocate for patients and families and improve outcomes.

The role emphasizes education, evidence-based practice, and coordination of care within a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN/Registered Nurse credential required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS)
• Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Documents care in the patient medical record.
• Educates patients/families about condition, plan and medications, and follow-ups.
• Educates on non-medical follow-up measures like diet and exercise.
• Coordinates and delivers holistic patient treatment with multidisciplinary team.
