Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the ICU DRMC unit. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team. You will model the organization’s values and strive for exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications include an RN license, BLS and ACLS (within 30 days of start). CVICU experience preferred; an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.

Qualifications

• RN license required with state board registration.
• ACLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• BLS certification required; CVICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in ICU.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and Post-CICU care.
• Document care and outcomes in the electronic medical record in a timely manner.
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
