Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center in Houston, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN coverage. The RN coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, adhering to standards of practice and established care models.

You will advocate for patients and participate in quality initiatives to enhance outcomes. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license; ACLS/BLS certifications are expected within 30 days

Qualifications

• RN license or multi-state compact where applicable.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Nursing degree (Diploma/ADN/BSN) required or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team for plans of care.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up.
• Document care in the medical record timely and accurately.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient outcomes.
