Qualifications

• BSN and one year RN experience required
• Competence in RN performance expectations
• TX RN license upon hire required
• BLS CPR within 14 days

Responsibilities

• Assessment: admission and ongoing assessment of patient’s condition, notify doctor of changes
• Planning: design and document plan of care, educate patient/family, coordinate transitions
• Implementation: prepare patients for treatments, report changes, follow safety practices
• Evaluation: reassess patients and adjust care as needed
• Report Skills: provide comprehensive bedside reports and ensure continuity of care
