Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Multispecialty Care team in Springfield, IL. This critical care RN role focuses on bedside acute patient care in the CVICU setting, with nights 7pm-7am and 36 hours per week.

Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing degree, active RN license in Illinois, BLS, and possibly ACLS/PALS/NRP depending on patient population. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and eligible for licensure.
• BSN is preferred.
• Critical Care experience is preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required based on patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care in the CVICU and critical care settings.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary medical team to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and patient-family communication standards.
