Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Multispecialty Care team in the CVICU at St John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. This role involves bedside, acute patient care on nights, with a 36-hour workweek and a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Required licensure, BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP per patient population; BSN preferred; CCU experience desirable; Wisconsin multi-state license supported by NLC where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and be eligible for RN licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Critical Care Nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on acute patient care at the bedside in the CVICU.
• Coordinate and perform nursing care for critical care patients.
• Support patients and families with compassionate communication and education.
