Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a CVD Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, monitor tool health, and coordinate with engineers on troubleshooting. You will ensure proper documentation of tool interruptions and dispositioning while following site HPSE guidelines.

Role emphasizes quality, attention to detail, and adherence to SOPs during BM/PM execution. The position is on-site, requiring shift work (B shift: Sunday–Tuesday, 7 pm–7 am, plus alternating Saturdays).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of semiconductor fabrication experience.
• Experience troubleshooting the 300mm AMAT Producer toolset.
• Expertise with AMAT robots and chemical delivery systems.
• Experience in high-volume semiconductor fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance following detailed SOP.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Monitor abnormal equipment signals, alarms, and interlocks.
• Work with engineers to perform troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance.
• Update SOPs when required.
