Job summary

Saint Vincent Hospital is seeking a monitor tech to perform hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly specialized nature and assist the physician during all procedures. You will work with patients from adolescents to geriatrics and complete established competencies during the introductory period.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year health care experience.
• Certification: BLS; ACLS within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing personnel with emergency procedures.
• Assumes responsibility for maintenance and quality control of equipment.
• Cleans and packages instruments/supplies for sterilization.
• Assumes role of monitor tech as needed.
• Performs related duties as required.

• Experience: year in cardiac cath lab.
