Job summary

Carondelet St. Marys Hospital is seeking a skilled Hemodynamic Monitoring Tech to perform advanced monitoring procedures and assist physicians during cardiac procedures.

The role supports patients from adolescence through geriatrics in a collaborative care setting. Responsibilities include assisting nursing staff during emergencies, maintaining and sterilizing equipment, and acting as monitor tech as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year health care experience.
• Licensure/Certifications: BLS; ACLS within 12 months of hire.
• Education: Formal cardiovascular technology training.
• Experience: 1 year in cardiac cath lab.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing personnel with emergency procedures; assumes responsibility for maintenance and quality control of equipment; cleans and packages instruments/supplies for sterilization.
• Assumes role of monitor tech as needed.
• Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
• Other duties as assigned
