Wellstar Health System, Inc. is hiring an Evening shift Lead Sterile Processing Technician. The role coordinates surgical instrument processing, sterilization, and workflow to ensure ORs are stocked and ready for cases.

• Requires CV instrumentation knowledge and certification.
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of sterile technique and instrument processing.
• Must communicate effectively with surgical teams and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workflow.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates aseptic/sterile techniques for instruments and supplies.
• Oversees instrument turnaround and stocks supplies for scheduled and emergent cases.
• Acts as liaison between SPTs and operating room staff; supports PI initiatives.
• Maintains sterilization records and regulatory documentation.
