New Hire Incentive available up to $2,000 for those who qualify.

This is a full-time position (64 hours per pay period) with 8-hour varied day shifts. The position requires availability to work weekends and participate in the on-call rotation. The role is based at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego in Hillcrest.

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an EP Lab and/or Interventional Cath Lab required
• Ability to monitor or scrub advanced specialty procedures in an EP or Interventional Cath Lab
• Demonstrates advanced proficiency and technical competence in:
  • Scrubbing and/or hemodynamic monitoring of advanced specialty procedures
  • Teaching others these roles and procedures (e.g., TAVR, Mitral Clip, Lariat, Watchman, complex peripheral procedures)
• Capable of managing and prioritizing tasks during crises or high-stress situations
• Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Current ACLS from American Heart Association
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program (or Military program equivalent)
• Current RCIS and/or RCES certificationPreferred Education/Course(s)/Training: Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program (or Military program equivalent). Current RCIS and/or RCES certification.
