Job summary

Smurfit WestRock is seeking a Cutting Operator in Texas to support daily production activities, learn machine setup, quality checks, material handling, and basic troubleshooting. You will work with experienced teammates to gain hands-on experience and advance toward senior operator positions within the production team.

You will follow safety procedures, ensure product quality, perform make-readies, and assist with maintenance as needed while maintaining accurate production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production activities and learn machine setup, quality checks, material handling, and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist with make-ready on the machine and ensure proper delivery and setup for each job.
• Maintain safety procedures, follow OSHA standards, and uphold quality control throughout shifts.
• Fill out daily production reports and assist with housekeeping of equipment.
