Ricochet Manufacturing Company is seeking a Cutting Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate Lectra/Gerber cutting machines, manage material usage, and support inventory control to produce high-quality protective garments.

The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating Lectra/Gerber or similar cutting machines preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret cutting patterns/work with online cutting software
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.
• Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Lectra/Gerber cutting machines and other automated equipment to cut fabric according to production specifications.
• Collaborate with other cutters and spreaders to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Record and monitor material usage; maintain accurate inventory documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on cutting equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with production and inventory teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Inspect cut materials for quality and accuracy before releasing to production.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.

• Manual dexterity and visual acuity are required for machine operation and material inspection.
