Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Tonawanda, New York is seeking a diligent coordinator to manage US customs documentation for importation and ensure accurate classification for customs clearance. You will provide excellent customer service and work with multiple systems to process related paperwork.

The role requires data-entry precision, strong communication, and the ability to handle high-volume, time-sensitive tasks. Onsite training with potential hybrid work setup is available.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; no industry experience required; minimum 6 months work experience preferred.
• Data entry/keyboard experience required; working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook using multiple screens/windows.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; strong organizational and interpersonal skills; problem solving.
• Handle high volume and time-sensitive work; ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

• Process agency brokerage shipments.
• May handle remote filings.
• Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed.
• Performs other duties as assigned; paid training provided.

Provide impeccable customer service

Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from database, SOP's, tariff book, internet or customs.

Data entry and processing of various import related documentation for submission to US Customs and may handle all PGA's (participating Government Agencies)

Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with all record keeping requirements.

Adhere to all international importing and exporting regulations.

Work closely with other internal staff, departments, other fedex operations, and customers to deliver high level of service to customers

Process agency brokerage shipments

May handle remote filings

Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed

Performs other duties as assigned. Paid Training Provided.

Preferred Qualifications:

Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:30 AM. Work Location & Arrangement: Based in Tonawanda, New York.

Hybrid (onsite/remote), with approximately 4 months of onsite training or until performance standards are met. Potential work-from-home eligibility afterward based on business needs. Overtime and holiday coverage may be required during peak periods.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current. Starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors. Permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
