Customs and Logistics Coordinator
Full-Time | Pulaski, TN
About Us

At Integrity Tennessee, we do business the way our name promises — with honesty, precision, and accountability at every step. We're growing our logistics team and looking for a detail-driven Customs and Logistics Coordinator to help keep our international shipments moving smoothly and compliantly.

About The Role

The Customs and Logistics Coordinator manages the flow of imported and exported goods from origin to destination, ensuring every shipment clears customs accurately, on time, and in full compliance with federal regulations. You'll be the point person connecting our suppliers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams — catching problems before they become delays.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, HTS classifications) for import/export shipments
  • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure timely clearance and delivery
  • Track shipments from origin to final delivery, proactively communicating delays or exceptions to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, as well as applicable international trade laws (ISF, AES filings, etc.)
  • Classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and verify duty/tariff calculations
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation for audits and regulatory reviews
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in shipping documents, customs holds, or delivery issues
  • Support cost control by identifying opportunities to reduce freight, duty, and demurrage/detention expenses
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with carriers, brokers, and vendors
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives to streamline logistics and customs workflows
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in customs coordination, international logistics, freight forwarding, or trade compliance
  • Working knowledge of import/export regulations, HTS classification, and CBP requirements
  • Experience with customs brokerage software, ERP systems, or freight management platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experienced and comfortable with International Customs and Tariff laws, policies and process
  • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or actively pursuing licensure
  • Experience with USMCA, ISF, and AES filing requirements
  • Background in a regulated, compliance-driven industry (government, defense, manufacturing, or similar)
  • Bilingual capabilities a plus
