Job summary

Maersk Mexico in the United States (Georgia region) seeks a Customs Entry Specialist to drive end-to-end U.S. customs brokerage for a portfolio of accounts, coordinating with customers, carriers, and government agencies to ensure timely, compliant imports.

You will prepare U.S. Customs entries and PGA filings, manage entry files, and maintain SOPs while meeting KPIs in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of customs brokerage or related industry experience.
• At least 2 years in CHB or operational support environment preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• Customs House Broker License preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers with updates.
• Prepare and process U.S. Customs entries and PGA filings for compliance.
• Open and manage entry files in line with KPIs and service standards.
• Coordinate clearance with freight forwarders, lines, airlines, and CFS.
• Track inbound shipments from port/airport to final delivery.
• Upload required documentation into operating systems.
• Complete customer billing, delivery orders, and reports.
• Maintain and update customer SOPs as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates for coverage and peak-volume support.
