Job summary

LG Electronics, Inc. seeks a Temporary Customs Compliance Analyst to support CBP compliance onsite in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. The role runs up to five months, five days a week, with standard U.S. business hours, reporting to the CBP Compliance team. The position requires accuracy in tariff data, HS codes, and exit/entry procedures.

You will collaborate with the HQ and internal teams, performing data checks, auditing shipments, and ensuring timely duty payments while leveraging MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of experience in related field preferred.
• Bilingual English and Korean preferred for HQ communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CBP compliance procedures align with laws and regulations.
• Review daily/monthly audit activities for GERP shipment data.
• Verify HS codes and FTA eligibility; update as needed.
• Consolidate entry data for Customs Clearance.
• Communicate with Customs Broker and monitor clearance status.
• Review taxation data and process ACH duty payments timely.
