LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Customs Compliance Specialist to lead U.S. import operations and FTZ administration in a bilingual (English/Korean) environment.

You will coordinate with brokers, freight forwarders and internal stakeholders to ensure CBP compliance and efficient processing. The role requires 7+ years in customs compliance or related fields, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant area, and experience managing external service providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in customs compliance, import operations or international logistics.
• English/Korean bilingual required.
• Experience managing third-party customs brokers or logistics service providers.
• FTZ operations experience preferred; LCB certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily U.S. import customs clearance activities, ensuring compliance with CBP and related regulations.
• Primary point of contact for external customs brokers and freight forwarders; manage performance and issues.
• Administer and maintain Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations with inventory control and records.
• Maintain import documentation including HTS classifications, origin determinations and valuation data.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement and legal to align import ops with corporate objectives.
• Audit customs entries and broker activities to verify accuracy and compliance.
• Support CBP reviews and other regulatory audits.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction in customs/import ops; lead best-practice implementations.
• Monitor updates to US trade regulations to ensure proactive compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
