Job summary

FedEx Corporation is seeking a detail‑oriented import documentation coordinator in a hybrid role. You will coordinate US Customs documentation, classification of goods, and data entry to process shipments for importers, while delivering high levels of customer service.

The position requires a HS diploma or GED and at least one year of computer system experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required. No industry experience required. No work experience required.
• A minimum of one year of experience using computer systems with data entry, document creation, and navigation of standard software applications.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation required by US Customs for entry of goods on behalf of importers.
• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from database, SOPs, tariff book, internet or customs.
• Data entry and processing of import related documentation for submission to US Customs; may handle PGA's.
• Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements.
• Adhere to all international importing regulations.
• Work closely with internal staff to deliver high level of service to customers.
• Process agency brokerage shipments.
• Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed.
