hXpath Inc. is partnering with an established international logistics and freight forwarding company to identify an experienced Customs Brokerage Manager for its Dallas-Fort Worth operation. The role leads day-to-day brokerage, develops the team, maintains strong customer relationships, and ensures compliance with U.S.

customs and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of entry processes, classification, valuation, and compliance, combined with leadership skills

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in U.S. customs brokerage, including supervisory or management experience.
• Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, entry processes, classification, valuation, and compliance.
• Experience managing and developing a customs brokerage team.
• Experience working with customs brokerage software and CargoWise is highly preferred.

hXpath is partnering with a well-established international logistics and freight forwarding company to identify an experienced Customs Brokerage Manager for its Dallas-Fort Worth operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a License holding customs brokerage professional who is looking to take the next step into a leadership position. The Customs Brokerage Manager will oversee the day-to-day brokerage operation, lead and develop the team, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure compliance with all U.S. Customs and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of customs entry processes, compliance, classification, and brokerage operations, combined with the leadership skills necessary to improve service, develop employees, and support the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the customs brokerage department.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of customs brokerage professionals.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of import entries and related documentation.
• Oversee customs entry classification, valuation, duty calculations, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations and applicable government agencies.
• Monitor department performance, productivity, service levels, and financial performance.
• Develop and implement processes designed to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer service.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for key customers regarding customs brokerage matters and compliance issues.
• Partner with sales and operations teams to support customer retention and new business opportunities.
• Assist with complex entries, customs audits, protests, post-entry corrections, and other regulatory matters.
• Stay current on changes to customs regulations, tariffs, trade programs, and government requirements.
• Work closely with overseas offices, freight forwarding operations, carriers, and customers to ensure seamless shipment execution.
• Identify opportunities to expand customs brokerage services and improve the overall customer experience.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and other departmental planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in U.S. customs brokerage, including previous supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, entry processes, classification, valuation, and compliance.
• Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) strongly preferred.
• Experience managing and developing a customs brokerage team.
• Strong understanding of the relationship between customs brokerage, international freight forwarding, and overall supply chain operations.
• Experience working with customs brokerage software and/or CargoWise is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience with an international freight forwarder or integrated logistics provider.
• Experience managing customs brokerage operations within a small to mid-sized organization.
• Existing relationships with customers and industry partners in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
• Experience partnering with sales teams to develop and grow customs brokerage business.
