Neara is seeking a customer-facing professional in Denver to drive adoption of our physics-based digital twin platform with large utilities. You will blend technical insight with business sense, spend substantial time on site, and turn product features into clear ROI cases.
A background in enterprise software or consulting, coding or data skills, and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders are essential.
This is a customer-facing role focused on getting large utilities to actually use the Neara platform and prove the results. It calls for someone who can mix technical skill with business sense, spend real time on site, and turn product features into clear return-on-investment cases. A strong candidate has enterprise software or consulting experience, can code or work with data, and builds trust with many kinds of stakeholders.
The platform uses machine learning and physics-based simulation, so much of the grid modelling and scenario analysis is automated. That makes the human part of the job more important: understanding what a utility is trying to achieve, running training and change management, and judging whether the results hold up in practice. Trust, translation and commercial judgement stay with people.
Someone in this role would get close to AI‑driven digital twins used for storm and fire risk planning, and would learn how utilities apply them to investment decisions. To build this experience, it helps to practise explaining model outputs to non‑technical audiences and linking simulation results to measurable business outcomes. Learning basic grid and resilience concepts would also help.
This is our own read, written from the employer's posting and the company's Spotlight. The employer's posting is the source of truth for the role.
A physics-based 3D digital twin of the electricity network, so utilities can simulate a storm or a fire before it happens rather than inspect poles after.
