OneMain Financial in Evansville, IN is seeking a Customer Service Representative responsible for delivering solutions and first-call resolution while learning core business functions.

You will respond to calls, provide website support, arrange payments, handle complaints, and service portfolios. Expect a 40-hour week with varying shifts (7:00 AM–8:00 PM Central; occasional late nights and one Saturday per month) and a focus on compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years in a call center preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, not required.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems with ease.

Responsibilities

• Responding to calls using an inbound and outbound dialer, with focus on quality and first call resolution.
• Support OneMain website, including tech assistance, password resets and customer support tasks such as payment arrangements and declined notifications.
• Handle customer complaints, branch issues, delinquency levels and refunds.
• Manage portfolio servicing including cash advances, convenience checks and settlements.
• Interact with customers in a consultative manner following laws and procedures.
• Negotiate with customers to resolve account matters and document all information on accounts.
• Communicate with customers via web chat, text, and phone across systems, ensuring timely responses.
• Maintain compliance with FDCPA and state/federal regulations.
