Job summary

OneMain Financial in Evansville, IN is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers via inbound/outbound calls and digital channels. You will resolve inquiries, process payments, and provide information on accounts while adhering to applicable laws and company policies.

Qualifications

HS Diploma/GED required.
2-4 years call center experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Respond to calls using inbound/outbound dialer with focus on quality and first call resolution.
Provide OneMain website support: tech assistance, password resets, and customer support activities including payment arrangements.
Handle customer complaints, branch issues, delinquency levels and refunds.
Manage portfolio servicing including cash advances, convenience checks and settlements.
Interact with clients consultatively following laws, policies, and procedures.
Negotiate with customers to resolve account matters.
Document and maintain all relevant information on customer accounts.
Ensure lien releases processing and respond to questions on closed/resolved accounts.
Collaborate as team member or individual contributor to meet targets.
Maintain compliance with FDCPA and applicable regulations on telephonic servicing.
Communicate with customers through web chat, text and phone, navigating systems to provide timely responses.
