Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling seeks a Customer Service Representative in Circleville, OH. You will be the first point of contact handling phone, email, and social inquiries, resolving issues and guiding customers through billing, service changes, and sign-ups.

You will work with a team to meet call center goals, maintain accurate records, and support cross-department resolution of problems while upholding a professional image and strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of call center or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual skills are desired, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones promptly and courteously according to company procedures.
• Receive and respond professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, social media, or other channels.
• Identify reasons for service changes or cancellations and attempt to retain customers.
• Provide information on service options, charges, billing, and contract terms.
• Ensure customer concerns are understood and clearly explained; document interactions.
• Process payments and assist customers with RumpkePay as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and log information.
• Manage billing, renewals, price changes, and related data entry; maintain sticker inventory as needed.
