Job summary

Insight Global in San Diego, CA is hiring for a Customer Service & Sales Associate in person. You will open and close the store daily, assist customers with shipment rate quotes, log data, and provide both in-store and phone support.

The role offers growth within Operations and exposure to international logistics and supply chain workflows. The position requires 2-5+ years of Customer Service or Sales experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store each day, handling daily opening/closing duties.
• Help customers with shipment rate quotes and basic inquiries.
• Log data and maintain daily records for orders and shipments.
• Provide in-store assistance and some over-the-phone support, escalating queries as needed.

Store Hours:

M-F 9-6

Sat 11-5

Must Haves:

• Basic computer skills – Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
• 2-5+ years of Customer Service experience and/or Sales experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Office/ Teams

Plusses:

• Logistics experience/supply chain experience
• Experience with FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.

Day to Day:

This is a great opportunity to work for an international Logistics any Supply Chain company. As the Customer Service & Sales Associate, you will have the potential opportunity to grow within Operations as well. You will be opening and closing the store each day, helping customers with shipment rate quotes, logging data, and much more! You will be servicing customers in the store, with some over-the-phone support as well. You will also be able to reach out to other team members for any questions that need to be escalated.
