Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. seeks a Customer Outreach Specialist/System Engineer to bridge operations, mission stakeholders, and software teams. You will drive tool adoption, train end users, triage issues, and translate customer needs into clear technical requirements to accelerate fielded capabilities.

The role requires 2–4 years of IC experience, a bachelor’s degree, strong communication, and TS/SCI clearance with poly; the position is onsite in Maryland with competitive benefits and salary.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience supporting IC in analyst/systems engineer/technical support roles.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree with experience acceptable.
• Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead product demonstrations and user training; drive tool adoption and collect feedback.
• Triaging, investigating, and resolving user-reported technical issues; manage tickets to closure.
• Advocate for customer needs; translate mission requirements into technical specs and test features.
• Author and maintain user guides, release notes, SOPs, and workflow diagrams.
• Facilitate meetings and status reviews with government leadership and stakeholders.
