Job summary

POLITICO is seeking a Customer Engagement Specialist to support POLITICO Pro and E&E News subscribers from our Arlington, VA headquarters. You will handle inbound requests, onboard customers, monitor engagement, and steward feedback to improve product offerings.

The role focuses on maximizing customer experience, driving adoption, and contributing to revenue retention, with a base salary around $50,000 and eligibility for commission.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional experience in customer success, sales, business development, account management, or marketing, including internship and externship roles.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (B.A./B.S.).
• Excellent communication skills and client service ethic.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound requests and technical troubleshooting, ensuring issues are addressed swiftly and efficiently.
• Guide new customers through end-user customization and adoption processes, facilitating a seamless transition to the platform.
• Track customer health scores, usage reports, and engagement rates to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collect and communicate customer feedback to internal teams to improve product offerings.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with end users to enhance retention and promote long-term engagement.
• Leverage customer insights to uncover opportunities for account growth and support expansion efforts.
