Job summary

FDS Distributors is seeking a customer-focused professional to join our Provo, UT team. You will handle consumer and business inquiries, build quotes, process orders, and maintain strong customer relationships by phone and email in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time position operates 8 AM–5 PM, Monday through Friday, on-site in Provo. DOE pay starts at $20 per hour, with standard benefits on offer to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or account management.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for daily customer interactions.
• Familiar with CRM and office software.
• Some college or relevant customer service work experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries to promote product knowledge, build quotes, process orders, and communicate daily with customers by phone and email.
• Review project plans, and specifications and pricing for fence projects.
• Perform proactive follow-up to client requests for information and quotes.
• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with accounts and follow up on their requests.
• Investigate product claims and resolve customer complaints per company policies.
• Assist with business development activities via email, text, social media, and phone calls.
• Accurately entering and tracking customer interactions through the CRM system.
• Support field reps if assigned to do so.
